The Rockler Try That Challenge
The Challenge:
Build a woodworking project where you try something new that you've always wanted to try - a new joinery technique, a new type of furniture build, a new finish or something else. Show us your creativity and innovation as you build your project! Feel free to track your progress on Instagram through posts, reels, and stories. We encourage you to also share a video on YouTube (though that's not a requirement).
How to Enter:
Share the final project on Instagram using the hashtag #RocklerTryThatChallenge. You must post a picture or video of your project to your Instagram account and use the hashtag in the caption. Instagram stories don't qualify as an official entry.
Entries must be submitted by December 31, 2023 at 11:59 pm PST. Your project can be as large or small as you want. You can include other materials beyond wood. The only hard and fast rule is that your project should incorporate and feature some sort of wood.

3rd Place- $500 Rockler Gift Card
Winners will be chosen by Chris Salomone and Shaun Boyd a few weeks following the challenge's close and will be announced on Instagram.

ROCKLER TRY THAT CHALLENGE OFFICIAL RULES
- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
- HOW TO ENTER: Beginning on September 30, 2023 at 12:01 a.m. Central Time (鈥淪tart Date鈥�) through December 31, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (鈥淓nd Date鈥�), click here or go to /try-that-challenge and follow the on-screen entry instructions. Fill in all required information. Limit of one entry per person. Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry method or entering more than the number of times permitted will void all entries and result in disqualification. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules.
- ELIGIBILTY: Open to residents of the 50 United States and D.C., 18 years of age and older as of Start Date, except for employees, directors, officers, and members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household, of 蜜柚直播, Inc. ("Sponsor" or 鈥淩ockler鈥�) and its affiliates, subsidiaries, and agencies. Rockler and its subsidiaries, divisions, and affiliates are collectively the "Promotion Parties." Void where prohibited by law. Entries that include, make, or may be deemed to make (in the Promotion Parties鈥� sole discretion) false, discriminatory, or defamatory statements or infringe on a third-party鈥檚 intellectual, publicity, or privacy rights are ineligible.
- PRIZE: The 鈥淧rize鈥� consists of the following items: 1st Place- $2500 Rockler Gift Card; 2nd Place - $1000 Rockler Gift Card; and 3rd Place- $500 Rockler Gift Card. All amounts in USD. The Prize consists of only those items specifically listed as part of the Prize. No cash substitution, transfer, or assignment of prizes is allowed, except as allowed by Rockler, which reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Limit one Prize per family or household.
- DRAWING: Winners will be selected by Chris Salomone and Shaun Boyd (collectively, the 鈥淛udges鈥�) a few weeks following the challenge's close and will be announced on Instagram. Winners will be selected all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. The potential winners will be announced on Instagram and may also be notified by email. If a potential winner cannot be contacted or verified, is disqualified for any reason, or is unable or unwilling to accept the price, then the Prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. Provided sufficient time remains Rockler will award the applicable Prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Each potential winner must sign and return any required forms including, for example, Affidavit of Eligibility and Release no later than the date required. Failure to respond by the applicable deadline will result in forfeiture of Prize and the Prize may be awarded to an alternate winner. All taxes, fees, and costs (other than those specifically referenced in the Prize) resulting from acceptance of Prize are the responsibility of the winner. By entering this contest, entrant accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of Rockler and the Judges, which shall be final in all matters. By accepting the Prize, the winner authorizes the Promotion Parties to (a) use winner's name, likeness, project information (including any pictures, videos, and text) and biographical information for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, except in Tennessee or where prohibited by law, and (b) divulge the name of the winner. All federal and state laws apply.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering this contest, entrants waive all right to, and hold the Promotion Parties harmless from, any claim, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), or expense (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in this contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any Prize. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. Promotion Parties will not be responsible for: late, incomplete, or incorrect entries; an entrant's failure to receive Prize notices due to entrant's spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for entrants' provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information; technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in this contest; by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this contest; or any typographical, technological, or other error in the publishing of the offer, administration of the contest, or announcement of the Prize. If, in the Rockler's opinion, there is such an error, or there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the contest, or if technical difficulties (including viruses and bugs) compromise the integrity of the contest, Rockler reserves the right, in its sole discretion, cancel or modify this contest in any manner it deems appropriate. In the event of termination, winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received as of the End Date. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning entrant, entries will be declared made by the name on the online entry form.
- CHOICE OF LAW AND FORUM: Entrant agrees that all matters arising out of or relating to this contest and these Official Rules are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Minnesota, without giving effect to any of its conflict of laws provisions. Entrant further agrees that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this contest and these Official Rules shall be brought exclusively in the applicable federal or state courts located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

- MISCELLANEOUS: This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or YouTube. Each entrant or participant agrees to a complete release of Instagram or YouTube.
